Shuttle Bus is my first independent animation work. The idea comes from a popular saying, “The life journey is similar to a bus ride. You’re accompanied by your family loved ones, but eventually you need to get off the bus one by one.” Through a voice-over narration, the animation tells a magical story of my memory of my grandpa. According to Chinese folk legends, when you burn the paper cranes containing your letter to your deceased family loved ones, the message can be read by them. The people and things that appear in the animation are my memory of staying with my grandpa. I want to portray these wonderful moments in a relaxed and fun way. Many animation techniques, including 2D, 3D and Stop motion, have been applied. I spent six years to complete this animation work, covering everything except the background music. I sincerely hope that you will enjoy watching this animation. Thank you.

Tankus the Henge and Trukitrek Puppet Company have dreamt up an animation that is both beautiful in it's design and poignant in its message dealing as it does with environmental issues, specifically the death of our oceans. The film, made entirely using found or recycled materials, is a “Wake-up Machine” to those who view it, encouraging green and sustainable thinking to a society which needs to pay attention and affect real change before it’s too late.

A peculiar conversation in space between man and God. What does it mean to possess and lose, to grow up, to age and die? After a series of flashbacks the conversation gets an unexpected turn and there is nothing left to grasp - there has never been anything to grasp. This is a story based on a poem by Ella Wheeler Wilcox.
