Arriving on a small, tranquil island, DJ Pete causes a stir among the insular locals with his fresh and irreverent radio show. Only one islander, Laura, welcomes the newcomer with open arms. Strange customs govern a little village on a windswept isle in the Atlanic. Every now and again, a boy collects a heavy package from the pub and brings it to his grandmother. He returns with a ship in a bottle. Boy and bottle are received by the men in the pub with an ominous chant. A boat raises anchor.

While the woman enjoys life with her imaginary child the gap between her and her husband grows bigger. When the little girl comes to claim back her imaginary friend, it’s the power of imagination that brings everyone together.
