Bedroom Scenes. The animation was largely formed from a series of biro drawings from my sketchbook depicting moments of restlessness and increased anxiety during a sleepless night. I drew upon my experiences of trying to sleep in a century which seems to only offer up ever worsening news and dire forecasts for our future with no solutions in sight for our predicament. Another source of inspiration are my personal experiences with hypnopompic hallucinations, which occur as you awake and the tricks my brain can play on me as it tries to make sense of the impoverished images my ageing eyes send it in the darkness of the night.
Logline: Two brothers flee home during the Nazi regime. Generations later, their granddaughter weaves a dreamlike story of the untold past crossing into the present. Synopsis: I will take your shadow is an experimental autobiographical animated film consisting of hundreds of hand-made monotype drawings and prints that have been digitally combined and manipulated. In the years 1939-1940, the two brothers Jancsi and Bandi were forced to leave Vienna while fleeing the Nazi regime. They sailed for a few months aboard the refugee ship Darien II in a desperate search for a safe home and arrived at what was known as British Palestine. Today, the director, Jancsi’s granddaughter, is lost in her own dreams, which bring the past of the men in her family into her everyday reality. The untold transforms into a search for all that is lost, yet persists and unfolds in its absence. The film offers a glimpse into a world where waking and dreaming are equally real, where passed down stories become a constant reality.

A secluded beach location, the perfect partner, the most exclusive Hotel: It is the life of your dreams. Join an eerie trip into the luxurious world of unfulfilled dreams, nostalgia, desire and catch a unique glimpse through the polished fassades of the reality distorting imagery of social media. _______ The Sunset Special is an audiovisual, interdisciplinary, multimedia project centered around an animated short film and revolving around issues of consumerism, the growing digital world and their effect on the mindful use of attention. The project deals with the effects of reality distorting imagery and narrative spread by social media and advertisement through new technologies. It examines their connection to nostalgia, desires, and wanderlust and deconstructs the perfectly customized, digital products: The idea of the unique trip, the perfect partner, the ideal life... Set in a world of luxury, travel and abundance The Sunset Special plays a game with the superficiality these products and worlds incorporate.

Sadness, despair and emptiness before the sudden death of a beloved soul. These emotions are transfigured into an infinite dance of shadows and colors. A luminous space open to a death drive. As if the world were metamorphosed into the theater of Thanatos.
This experimental animated film follows the journey of a random artist (Xartist) who challenges themselves to render their unconscious mind through a year-long project involving various forms of experimental media for animated storytelling. The resulting 365 animated gifs contain recurring themes, myths, and familiar characters that prompt the Xartist to reflect on the origin of inspiration, imagination, and storytelling. The Xartist then merges dreams and digital entities, creating a shared visual language for queer ecologies playing a multiplayer game of mutualism and survival online. The X-artist becomes the X-director, creating a game of hybrid a e s t h e t i c s pre- and post-produced animated single narrative from the 365 rendered dreams and visual ingredients using video software and DIY analog video electronic circuits.

It is a universe where all faiths meet in a colorful harmony.
