“Understanding Delirium” is a short animation that communicates the common symptoms and treatment for this often-treatable condition. Delirium is a sudden and usually reversible onset of confusion most common among older adults. If undiagnosed, it can have permanent, devastating outcomes for individuals and their care partners. Among older patients, delirium may affect between 10-50% of patients who have recently undergone surgery.
