Meanwhile, Tarik, a young trans man with whom Abi has recently started a love relationship, struggles with his collective to create a head procession that would honor people of color in the LGBTI+ community during the Pride March. His project suffers from several refusals and only finds a new lease of life when Tarik meets Jeanne thanks to Binh. With the help of Jeanne's association, they will work together to make their voices heard, while Binh will redouble their efforts to integrate the ballroom scene.

Long Synopsis "ReRooted" tells the story of Sam, a bored warehouse worker who dreams of being a successful animator. One day, while scrolling through TikTok on her phone, she comes across an advertisement for ReRooted, a company that offers eco-friendly cremation and plantation services, allowing its customers to become a tree after they die. Intrigued, Sam purchases a green burial plot, and takes steps to drastically change her life. "Rerooted" is a tragicomedy exploring the unending cycle of life and death in contrast with our attempts to make our mark. The animation is a mix of papercraft, digital 2D animation, live action and pixelation. It asks us to look at our lifestyles as individuals without forgetting the global impact of much bigger entities.
The film puts the protagonist, a descendant of refugees living by the buffer zone, to an opposition with the occupation of his country Cyprus, by Turkish troops and his reaction to the lifting of this weight, lasting half a century.
